APEX: An Overview of Building Queries (webcast)

Join us for an introduction to the three systems used to build queries for workforce development data from the One-Stop Management Information System (OSMIS). 

This webcast is a basic overview and appropriate for anyone new to the OSMIS and the query report environment. 

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
  • How to build a query and analyze the results
  • Application Express – the main program and tool to build queries
  • Document Library – provides templates to allow users to locate information as seen in the OSMIS
  • Canned Query Site – run queries that have been built by the APEX workgroup 
  • How to translate codes from report results 
  • An introduction to SQL
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
  • Michigan Works! staff responsible for reporting or compiling information from OSMIS. 

You must have access to the Query System to be able to use APEX. Being an OSMIS user is not synonymous with having Query System access.
