Apprenticeship Launch Network (ALN) Module 6 - Labor Trades / 2020 ASC Plan

THIS AIN'T THE OLD ALN -  WELCOME TO THE APPRENTICESHIP LAUNCH NETWORK....

ALN (formerlly Apprenticeship Learning Network - not Apprenticeship Launch Network) 06 will enable labor trade partners and federal/state/local workforce agencies to work better together for mutual success through registered apprenticeship.  Workshop activities are designed to help fill the 17,800 vacancies forecast through 2026 for Skilled Trades occupations. Morning activities bring Labor Trades Training Directors, Michigan Works Agency (MWA) Apprenticeship Success Coordinators (ASC), the United States Department of Labor-Office of Apprenticeship, and the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity-Workforce Development (LEO-WD) together to align efforts to expand registered apprenticeships in these occupations. Lunch will be available for all attendees.  Afternoon activities are designed for MWA ASCs and focus on 2020 ASC Strategic Planning.

Not in the Labor Trades? No Problem, there are more ALN Modules coming later this year focused on different sectors. Check out our full list of trainings for more information.
