Expanding Adult Education Opportunities (webinar)

Nearly 10% of Michigan adults, age 25 and older, lack the fundamental credential of a high school diploma or the equivalent.

While they may be participating in the labor force, are they participating at their highest potential?  And, if they aren’t participating, how do we get them engaged and prepared to meet some of the current worker shortage needs?

Michigan Works! West Central has cultivated a space where adult basic education and workforce readiness converge in their One Stop Operator System. The challenge to support adults and their families as they improve their basic education and work skills has continued to be at the epicenter of their customer service model.

Don’t miss this opportunity to learn more about how Michigan Works! West Central has developed ongoing relationships with adult education systems in their region and aligned their processes to meet the growing needs of the labor market.
