Harold joined Northwest Michigan Works! in January 2013 following a 30-year career as a small business owner and recruiter. He currently leads the Northwest Michigan Works! Business Services Team to serve the employers in the 10 counties of Region 2.


John Redwine, Departmental Manager, Talent Connect IT Services, Workforce Development Agency, State of Michigan

John provides daily operations support for the official state labor exchange system, Pure Michigan Talent Connect.  He is an expert user of the system, which assists with connecting talent to Michigan job opportunities, and employers to qualified talent. He brings a background in software development, business analysis and project management, which he uses to continually improve the system to benefit users of the system. 

Sharon Laraway-Gorden, Business Services Specialist, Northwest Michian Works!

Sharon  has worked for Networks Northwest at the Traverse City Michigan Works! office for eight years. Her current role is Business Services Specialist, working directly with employers in their search for talent. Prior to that she owned and operated two small businesses for 15 years. Sharon works with the MiTalent system on a daily basis in both the job posting areas and candidate searches for employers, covering  the ten counties in Region 2.
