Join us on Wednesday, Dec. 3, to celebrate the launch of the latest edition of the Oakland County Registered Apprenticeship Guide. The definitive source of information for students, adults, educators, workforce development pros and others on the in-demand apprenticeable jobs in southeast Michigan!
Currently, Oakland County is home to 2,232 apprentices across 83 active Registered Apprenticeship Programs, according to the Michigan Center for Data and Analytics. While the construction and manufacturing industries are most popular, apprenticeship opportunities are also expanding into healthcare, IT, education, accounting and professional services. Open the guide to learn more!
The year’s final Race to Talent event also will recognize the many contributors to the new Apprenticeship Guide, including labor organizations, community colleges and Oakland County Michigan Works! staff with a special award ceremony!
