2026 User Group Forum

Users’ Groups offer a unique forum for:

  • best practice sharing and solution-based approaches to common problems;

  • establishing clarity around state policy issuance;

  • in-person meetings to engage in dialogue focusing on members’ areas of responsibility;

  • discussion and feedback on topics presented by the MW Directors;

  • providing feedback to the MW Directors/Deputy-COO concerning action items underway within each respective users’ group.

Membership in a users’ group is by invitation only, and is only open to Michigan Works! Agency Staff

  • 1:00–5:00 PM: Users’ Group Meetings

     - Business Services (Conference Room E)
     - ASC (Conference Room F)
     - Communications (Conference Room G)

  • 5:30 PM: Dinner hosted by the Association (Conference Room A)

  • 6:00 PM: Networking Event (Conference Room A)

Wednesday, May 6

  • 8:00 AM: Breakfast (Conference Room A)

  • 8:30 AM–Noon: Keynote: David Weinandy — Communication & Leadership (Conference Room A)

What to Wear: Casual — comfortable for meetings, feel free to wear your Michigan Works! swag

Cost: $175 per person
