Dennis M. Louney
Public Affairs Director, Spicer Group
Dennis M. Louney brings more than 30 years of public policy experience, working with both state and local governments. He has been a member of Spicer Group’s Applied Technologies Department since 2014. He is responsible for business development, easement acquisition, communications and outreach and engagement with local municipalities and state government in the Lansing area. He was recently appointed as Chair of the Capital Area Michigan Works Workforce Development Board for the Counties of Clinton, Eaton and Ingham Counties. A former Ingham County Commissioner, he has a strong background in electrical and water utilities, serving as a Lansing Board of Water and Light Commissioner for ten years.
In addition, he served as a Chair of the Tri-County Regional Planning Commission’s Groundwater Management Chair for five years and is currently Board Chair of the Mid-Michigan Environmental Action Committee. He also served ten years as a member of the McLaren of Greater Lansing Hospital Board and an Executive Board member for the Capital Area United Way.
