Change to obscure law could eliminate 75% of Michigan Works! staff

A  proposed federal administrative rule change to an obscure federal law called the Wagner-Peyser Act would eliminate 75% of the Michigan Works! employees, according to Jessica Willis, the chief program officer for Networks Northwest.

The Wagner-Pesyer Act of 1933, according to the U.S. Department of Labor website, "established a nationwide system of public employment offices, known as the U.S. Employment Service.
