Legal First Aid Training with Michigan Legal Help

  • Michigan Works! Association (map)

The Community Justice Program is a training designed to help frontline staff recognize when clients may be experiencing legal issues hidden within everyday life problems and connect them to the right resources. It offers practical tools, real-world examples, and clear guidance to support timely, informed referrals—enhancing the strong support that staff already provide in their communities.

This virtual training will be two half days of learning. September 24-25 9:00am-12:00pm BOTH DAYS.

Meet your trainers:

**Samantha Perry** is a Staff Attorney at Michigan Legal Help, where she specializes in employment, immigration, and criminal law. She supports the Community Justice Program by presenting trainings to help participants learn to identify and provide resources for their clients' legal needs.
