Professional Bio
As Director of Operations, Anisa oversees the day-to-day functions of the Association and plays a key role in long-term planning, operational excellence initiatives, and the planning and execution of special events.
With a diverse background in administration, finance, customer service, and operations, Anisa brings a well-rounded perspective and a strong commitment to getting things done. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Western Michigan University and is a graduate of LeadStar’s Emerging Leaders Program and the Michigan Society of Association Executives’ Academy of Association Management. She is also a Certified Government Meeting Professional.
Honesty, integrity, and a strong work ethic are the values that guide Anisa in everything she does. She is motivated by learning new things, developing creative ideas, improving processes, and finding ways to make a meaningful impact. She appreciates being trusted to take ownership, produce high-quality work, and turn ideas into action.
Outside of work, Anisa enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and making new memories. She believes in continuing to grow, embracing new opportunities, and always finding ways to make things better.
