In 2025, Michigan Works! Northeast Consortium served more than 9,800 job seekers and 1,270 employers throughout Northeast Michigan, helping fill over 3,900 jobs for a wage impact of $164 million. The organization trained 296 individuals for in-demand careers, supported 29 On-the-Job Training placements, and helped remove 389 barriers to employment through transportation, work-related supports, and other assistance. Michigan Works! Northeast Consortium also secured $135,433 in Going PRO Talent Fund awards to help seven Northeast Michigan employers train 60 workers, support new hires, and expand apprenticeship opportunities. In addition, the Consortium reached more than 2,300 students through career awareness activities, hosted over 1,100 students from 22 schools at MiCareerQuest Northeast, coordinated eight talent tours for 92 students, and provided individualized support to 235 at-risk youth.
